A Roadshow is a series of in-market events held across key cities where schools meet vetted local agents & interested students through school presentations, one-on-one meetings with agents, networking sessions with multiple agents, and student Interviews. Roadshows are designed to strengthen existing partnerships and develop new ones.
Boarding school representatives are tasked with increasing their international student enrollment.
Roadshows are ideal for schools entering a new market, schools looking to deepen agent relationships, and Admissions leaders seeking direct market feedback.
This varies by market but typically includes 3-4 cities over 10 days. Cities are selected based on agent density, student demand, and historical performance. LATAM Roadshows typically last 5-7 days. Europe & Asia roadshows typically last 10 days.
Agents are invited based on proven student placement history, market reputation and existing or emerging partnerships within the GE network.
Everything but your international flights. This includes airport transportation, domestic flights, hotels, food, taxis, and everything in between. Think of an all-inclusive resort, but for an international student recruitment trip. Our goal is to let you focus on making connections, presenting your school, and not spending too much time on Google Maps or deciding on hotels. We tend to stay at Marriotts when possible, and you will be able to collect those points for yourself.
Each Roadshow group includes 4–7 schools. We try not to bring local & state competitors. We also prefer only two single sex schools at each Roadshow. We intentionally limit the number of schools to ensure quality exposure and meaningful interactions
Every day on a Roadshow looks a little different. Some days will be hosted at GE offices with several local agents in attendance. Additional agent training sessions will be held at specific agent offices. Some agents will have several families in attendance. Other days will be ‘school fair’ style. It depends on the market and the time of the year. If you have questions about a specific market, please contact Greg Lobe at greg@geinternational.org(mailto:greg@geinternational.org)

Yes. We strongly recommend bringing school brochures. Small promotional items (pens, flags, bags, cups, tags, mascots, etc.) and a tablecloth with your school name and logo (very helpful for visibility). We also recommend USB drives or electronic brochures.
How many brochures is always a difficult question to answer. It depends on the market and trip length, but a general rule of thumb is 10 brochures per day. What’s most important is direct access to online files that you can share ‘on the spot’.
